Identity, Technology, Politics

Project Overview

Asked to use design and critical theory to challenge the role of social construct and assumptions, my team explored the concept of identity in our evolving technological and political landscape. With technology that allows us to alter how others perceive us, we conceptualized technology that allows users to alter their appearance with the trade off of government regulation and surveillance.

In partnership with
Max Pabia, Katrina Tabuli, Jemma Marycz

TIME FRAME: Sept 2018 – Dec 2018

MY ROLE: Designer and researcher

TOOLS: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

What is the concept being branded?

Government mandated, engineered contact lenses citizens can use to alter how others perceive them.

  • Identity: Social perception
